Age + Health:
Our tour welcomes guests aged 3 and above. No upper age limit applies, but please consider your physical capacity. If you have limited mobility, you will need to travel with a companion
Special Equipment:
- For safety concerns, children under 10 years of age are not allowed to participate Glacier Hiking Tour. Guests choosing not to participate will be refunded USD60 per person. If you are planning to join our glacier hiking tour, please bring sturdy water-resistant ankle-high hiking boots and synthetic or wool socks. Hiking boots may be rented locally, but due to limited availability, we highly suggest bringing your own. We will provide crampons.
- Swimwear is required for all natural hot springs.
Dress Reminder:
- Iceland's weather is extremely unpredictable and can range from balmy to blizzard within moments. Staying comfortable with layers is important, and we suggest bringing lightweight outdoor pants, a weatherproof jacket with hood, water-resistant trekking shoes, hats, scarf, and gloves.
Local Conditions:
- Due to hotel room size configurations, TRIPLE rooms are not available for this tour.
- Icelandic tap water is pure natural spring water, it is free of chlorine, calcium, and nitrate, and undergoes strict monitoring, clearing it of microorganisms and other pollutants. All hotel and restaurant tap water are drinkable. For environmental concerns, we do not provide bottle water for this tour and please bring your own re-usable bottles with you.
- Due to the frequent volcanic activity in Iceland, travel itineraries and accommodation arrangements may be subject to temporary adjustments based on local conditions. We prioritize our guests' safety in all arrangements and appreciate your understanding.

- During the entire trip, you must use the same identification documents as those provided during registration to avoid delays or unnecessary expenses or losses due to discrepancies.
- Your passport must have at least 6 months of validity remaining and two blank “Visa” pages.
Flights and Luggage:
- Some airlines charge a fee for pre-assigned seats. If so, we will let you know the details at time of booking.
- If you are booking your own tickets, we recommend reserving at least 3 hours connecting time between international airports.
- Luggage allowances will vary based on the rules for each airline. Excess baggage fees are the responsibility of the traveler.

There are large windows throughout the hotel so you can admire the landscape including the magnificent Geysir and hot spring area during the day and night
Silica Hotel
Enjoy the comfort and hospitality of one of the best hotels in Iceland which features a private lagoon exclusive to guests. All rooms offer private facilities and a veranda, with breathtaking views of the surrounding lava fields. The famous Blue Lagoon is a 10-minute walk from the hotel for those interested in visiting.
